Alex Baro-Cayetano is a Spanish-British writer, director and creative producer based in London. His short Milk & Cookies was shown at Sitges Festival 2023 and won multiple prizes during its circuit in 2022. He's experimented with bending comedy with other genres like horror or scifi, and his films have always ended up top 3 of the London SciFi 48 hours challenge. He has a strong record in developing, producing and directing highly engaging, visually led videos - including branded content, music videos, fashion films, documentaries and social media promos.
With 3+ years of experience working across multiple genres and platforms, his clients include Vice, Adidas, Sony, Ebay, Samsung, Berghaus, Boilet Room and Lululemon.
He's currently working on a 3 x 10 minutes episode web series, Falling Out, and the original pilot episode is being shown at The Soho London Independent Film Festival, The Shortest Nights and was a nominee at the Unrestricted View Horror Film Festival 2023.
As an entrepreneur, Alex co-founded Evergreen Live - a live music platform for under-represented artists. As a director, Alex has worked with renowned talent such as Ashnikko, Ayrtn and Tora.
